Yesterday my boyfriend said that please sleep around one day,,,so I was sleeping around one day and today I feel almost good but now I have little a runny nose. I hope tomorrow will be very good.

By the way, Do you know what day March 3 is?
Yesterday was the Doll's Festival. Doll's festibval is girls Festival. If we have girl in our house, we're decolated in the Hina-Ningyou in our house. These are Hina-Ningyou.

Hina-Ningyou is very big..My house has like these. But recently Japanese people lives in apartment or small house, so they’re decollated on like this small kind of Hina-Ningyou.


When I was child, I didn’t like decollated Hina-Ningyou. Because to decollated it need a lot of time!!

Today I come back Fukuoka city.
When I come back my apartment, I dropped into the service area in freeway. And I saw this Kadomatsu( =New Year’s decorative pine branches).
Little while ago, we saw this Kadomatsu some place on the New year season. But recently only big place decollated in it, because it need money to make it and it need real pine and bamboo, so it is not good for earth. Because we have to cut down some tree, so recently we doesn’t see it so much place.






Well today I bought this notebook. Couple of year, I used Toy Story’s notebook. But this year we have not that design one. So I bought this SpongeBob’s one!


And today my boyfriend gives me these new Chopper-Man’s small stuffed. These are so cute!! These are my fist Chopper things around this year!

Today I went to my friend Nioka’s home, and I met other high school friend Ton in Nioka’s home. Now Ton lives in Tokyo by work.

Well today I write about Shime-nawa.( = decoration of sacred straw rope) This is my family’s one.




It decollated on the entrance like this.
The Sime-Nawa made from new straw.
There is a said legend the payment of year's old uncleanliness to new straw if the
misfortune from the outside doesn't enter. But now we don’t have straw in our house, so we are bought it in the store.
And now Shime-Nawa has a lot of kinds!!

Can you understand this mean? I’m worry about my English, please tell me about your opinion...

Today I went to the fist sale on department with my mother and father. Today we went to Park place in Oita prefecture. I bought one T-shirt and one parka.( my mother bought parka for me)

Well today I write about Japanese Kagami-Mochi (= round rice cakes offered to the gods at New year’s time)
We’re decollated in December 27 (or December 28. 30. 31) This Kagami- Mochi has some decoration goods and there has mean. But this year my mother forgot to bought some decoration goods..haha (But the decoration goods different from live place. )

A Happy New Year 2007

Well I think I want to write about Japanese New Year culture.
Today I introduce about our New Year’s breakfast.
The fist three days of new year morning we eat Zouni. (Zouni= rica cake boiled with vegetables)
This is my family’s Zouni.

My family's Zouni has Mochi(=rice cake), carrot,taro,chicken,little shrimp,and steamed fish paste.

Zouni’s taste and material different from live place.
This is my boyfriend’s family’s Zouni.
